Hello everyone!

Hello and welcome to my new blog design website! My name is Amanda, I am the owner of a book review blog called The Vintage Bookworm. I have been blogging on and off since 2008, though my newest book review blog, The Vintage Bookworm, was started in December of 2010.

Creating custom layouts is a hobby of mine. When I first started out blogging in 2008, there weren't that many three column layouts and back then it was the trend on the blogs. I was always searching for a three-column blogger template and normally when I finally did find one I liked, about three other people would have the same one. It was quite frustrating and still is sometimes.

Blogger has since created a Blogger Template designer where you can create your own layout with it, which is awesome, but a lot of people don't always have time to deal with creating one or don't even know how. Also, a lot of the things on the designer are a bit overused as well.

So, I have decided to make a blog just for creating Blogger designs, headers, buttons and more. CUSTOM! And a lot of people charge loads of money for a custom design. But not me. I won't charge money. I will be doing trades. And I won't make you decide until after you see the design.

You can tell me how you would like your design to look, I'll do my best to meet your dream, and then when you are satisfied you can take a look at my book wish list and we'll work out a deal. I'm up for negotiations. =)

I'm still learning how to create designs. I don't have any expensive web design software or anything like Photoshop, Artisteer or Dreamweaver or anything. But I do know how to do a pretty good amount of things and I'll try my best to learn more when it arises and I'll do my best to create somewhat of your dream layout.

I would love to design layouts for money, but I'm not that good yet and with the economy it's too expensive to spend $100 on layouts, no matter how beautiful they are. (Don't worry, I drool over them too. Guilty.)

I'll be adding up a portfolio soon. Also you can go to my book review blog to see a design made by me as well. If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me at vintagebookworm(at)yahoo(dot)com.

XoXo,
Amanda, The Vintage Bookworm
